Hand japa malas are the shortened form of the japa mala or spiritual mala of 108 beads. The Hand japa mala will only have a total of 27 beads and after every 7th bead is a crystal or gemstone spacer. Four rounds around the hand mala would complete the 108 count.
This mala comes in a Khadi (organic cotton) pouch block printed with vegetable dyes and sewn by an NGO in Delhi that provides skills training to underprivileged young women. We support local artisans all around India. We support fair trade.
